It concerns the last gunslinger, Roland Deschain, and his quest to reach the Dark Tower and climb to the top. King views the saga as his magnum opus, and rightfully so, I think. The people of the town are in general grumpy because everything is changing in their life too. The place is Borg which is a small town where everything is closing down because of the financial crisis. This is my 4th book by Backman and I loved it.īritt-Marie is this adorable little old women (if Britt-Marie was listening she would be upset I called her “old”) set in her way character who finds herself in a new place and is trying to adjust to the new reality.
